‘WTF – Where’s the Food?’
There’s a Word Sign for Everyone, and You’re Sure
To Laugh Out Loud as You Read Our Collection
The trend of word signs has been going strong for several years now, and it does not appear to be fading anytime soon. If anything, it seems to be growing more popular, probably because these signs strike a chord — and funny bone — with so many people. We have a collection in the store right now that often draws a crowd as people stop to read each one, laughing out loud and commenting about who they would like to give them to. These signs make great gifts for family, friends and co-workers, anyone with a great sense of humor. Read on for a few examples; we’re sure someone you know will come to mind with each saying.
“Sometimes I Can’t Tell If I’m in Preschool or High School. Oh, Wait. I’m a Work.”
“You Never Realize How Weird You Are Until You Have a Kid Who Acts Just Like You.”
“Every Once in a While, Someone Amazing Comes Into Your Life . . . You’re Welcome.”
“The First Five Days After the Weekend Are the Hardest.”
“Diet Tip: Your Pants Won’t Get Too Tight If You Don’t Wear Any.”
“A Fun Thing to Do in the Morning Is Not Talk to Me.”
“As For Me and My House, We Will Serve Beer. Beers 24:7”
“The Dishes Are Looking at Me Dirty Again.”
“Dear Win, We Had a Deal. You Were to Make Me Funnier, Sexier, Smarter, and a Better Dancer. I Saw the Video. We Need to Talk.”
“In Dog Beers, I’ve Only Had One.”
“I Wish More People Were Fluent in Silence.”
“The More People I Meet, the More I Like My Dog.”
“Caution – The Dog Can Hold Their Licker.”
“At My Age, I’ve Seen It All, Heard It All, Done It All, I Just Can’t Remember It All.”
These signs are perfect for a desk area, placed among the books and knickknacks on a shelving unit, set in a strategic area of the kitchen . . . anywhere that people will see and read them — and laugh as they do!
T-Shirts, Too!
The laughter isn’t limited to signs. We have a collection of statement T-shirts too. One of our new favorites is “Day Drinkin’ ” It’s perfect for your next trip to the wineries. Or how about, “Coffee, You’re on the Bench. Alcohol, Suit Up” or “Will Sweat for Champagne.”
There are a few shirts that pay tribute to popular songs — “Blame It All on My Roots” and “Country Roads, Take Me Home.” And then there are simpler, understated shirts with sayings like “Just a Small Town Girl” or one scripted word like “blessed” and “faith” printed vertically. Those have been popular with our staff. I think more than half of us have one or even two because they can be dressed up or down, worn for work or play.
Did you think of anyone as you read the list of sayings? Here’s a reminder: Gift-giving season is fast approaching, and it’s never too early to start shopping.
