Be the First to See Our Holiday Windows, Then Shop Our
Two-Week Open House

The most wonderful time of the year has arrived, and we’re not just talking about the Christmas season. For us, it’s our annual Holiday Open House, which, for 2020 we have stretched into a two-week long event beginning this Saturday, Nov. 21, and continuing through Sunday, Dec. 6 (which happens to be St. Nick Day— if you’re looking for small gifts, we have lots of great ideas in our boutique).

Our windows have been covered in paper for the last several weeks, as our creative elves work behind the scenes to build the most imaginative holiday home vignettes for you to shop or find inspiration. There won’t be any Little Drummer Boy drum roll, but to everyone’s delight we will remove the paper and reveal the windows this Friday evening, Nov. 20.

Our 15 large, plate-glass windows stretch a full city block, so viewing them is an event. Each window has a different theme, featuring a designer-style Christmas tree and floor-to-ceiling décor. There’s so much to see, you’ll need time to take it all in!

Load up your family and drive over to catch a first-glimpse of the displays before we open the store to customers Saturday morning. You can stay in the car and drive slowly past the windows, or if you really want to take your time, park the car across the street and get out to stroll along the sidewalk — the forecast looks perfect Friday for an evening outing. We’ll be serving hot cocoa outside our front door from 6:30 to 8 p.m. to help get you in the spirit.

You may be tempted to press your nose up to the glass and drool, and if you do, we promise not to tell anyone! We understand the urge. For home décor fanatics like ourselves, our holiday windows are all-consuming!

You’ll want to be on your best behavior Friday night because Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in the corner window waving at kids and parents. Due to the strict North Pole Quarantine Policy, Santa and Mrs. Claus will stay inside to ensure he stays healthy for Christmas. However, there will be a place where kids can drop off their letters to Santa for a quick delivery.

Best Sale of the Year

Only during our annual Holiday Open House do we offer our best sale of the year: a 10 percent discount on furniture purchases (exclusions apply; see store for details). To qualify for the discount, bring in either a bag of groceries for the local food pantry or a new unwrapped toy to donate to a local charity.

Our flooring department will be offering a sale of its own — a free 8-pound pad with a carpet purchase, a free subfloor sanitizing treatment with installation, and sale pricing on a number of other products.

You also can register to win a grandfather clock or a $300 gift certificate for our flooring department, and when you check-in on Facebook (or bring in the Holiday Open House post card we mailed to you), you can receive a free gift, while supplies last.

Holiday Hours

Beginning this weekend, in addition to our normal business hours of Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., we’ll be open on Sundays from noon to 4 p.m. through Christmas.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, we are asking all of our shoppers to please wear a face mask while they are in the store and to practice social distancing as much as possible. We also have hand sanitizer at the front door and at the front desk and restrooms where you can wash your hands.
