Mother’s Day is fast approaching.  If you haven’t been paying attention, you have less than two weeks to come up with a plan to show and tell Mom all that she means to you.  You can do that in any number of great ways — and she will love them all — but if you’re freaking out trying to think of a unique gift that she’ll love, we’ve got you covered! 

Qudo (pronounced COO-dough) is a line of fun and affordable interchangeable rings that we started carrying in the store last fall. They have been popular with our customers, who love to stand at the display and get creative with swapping the stones and bands to find the look they want. If you read O (as in Oprah!) Quarterly magazine, you may have seen the rings featured on “The O List.”

What’s Your Qudo Style?

If you’re not familiar with Qudo, here’s how the rings work: The stones, which are all European crystals and come in a rainbow of colors, screw into the stainless-steel bands, which come in different widths and styles. Several of the stones deliver extra flash with a ring of Swarovski crystals on the outside. Some of the bands, like the skinny Eternity band that features crystals all the way around, are meant for stacking, which is a hot trend in jewelry right now. Other stacking or “spacer” bands, as they’re called, showcase a twisted or beaded finish, which adds texture and dimension to the overall set. It’s those kinds of options that really allow you to create a complete ring look that reflects your personality.

The color and sparkle of these rings make them fun enough to be an everyday ring and dressy enough to be one that you put on when you want to make a statement. Every woman should have a statement or “bling ring” in her jewelry box to add interest to any outfit. Ladies Day Out Event

To celebrate moms (all women, really) we will hold a Ladies Day Out event Friday, May 7, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Just in time for Mother’s Day! We will be serving Sangria and handing out prizes.
